In Osun State, Governor Adeleke establishes the Imole Youth Corps and dissolves O-YES

Imole Youth Corps was established by the dissolution of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (O-YES) by the Government of Osun State.

The decision was made, according to a circular issued by Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the State Government, to reposition the Youth Empowerment Program inherited from the previous government for effective functionality, sustainability, and labor dignity.

“A new Scheme code-named Imole Youth Corps is hereby put into place to engage our teeming youths in the state in order to fulfill one of the electoral promises of His Excellency, the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke in ensuring meaningful and proper youth Engagement in the state.

Beginning on Friday, February 17, 2023, “Application forms will be available for prospective youths for free in all 30 LGs, including the Ife East Area Office of the State.” statement referred to.
