Junior Lokosa, who plays as a striker for Remo Stars, has promised that he will add to his goal count in the Nigeria Premier League Super Six tournament that is currently underway.
The Sky Blues Stars and Enyimba played to a 2-2 draw on the first day of the NPL playoffs, and the previous NPL goalscoring leader scored his first goal for the Sky Blues Stars in that game.
Free agency Lokosa signed with Remo Stars at the beginning of the 2022–2023 National Premier League season, although he got off to a terrible start with an injury that forced him to miss a significant portion of the season.
On the other hand, he stated that if the required assistance was provided, he would reward the faith with goals.
In an interview with the xanderetch, he stated, “I will work hard to add to my goal against Enyimba in the NPL Super Six playoff opener.”
“I haven’t been lucky with my start with Remo Stars due to injury but am fine and ready to repay the faith with goals,” he said. “I haven’t been lucky with my start with Remo Stars.”
Today’s match between Rivers United and Remo Stars will take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
