Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, a Nigerian midfielder who played for Bolton Wanderers, has said that Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partery has reached his full potential.
Partey left Atletico Madrid for Arsenal in 2020 after the Premier League leaders activated his €50 million buyout clause.
The Ghanaian international had a long time to adjust to the demands of the Premier League and was frequently injured.
Partey has scored two goals in 17 Premier League games this season, all of which he started, finally starting to live up to the hype that made him one of the most sought-after midfielders in Spain.
Okocha replied to Wettfreunde, “No, I don’t think so, he has always been injured, but this season he is finally able to reach his full potential,” when asked if he believes that the media and fans undervalue Partey.
