Lionel Messi Will Not Play in the PSG vs. Bayern Munich Game (See Details)

According to L’Equipe, the forward for Paris Saint-Germain is doubtful for the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 matchup against Bayern Munich because of a hamstring injury.

On Wednesday, they lost 2-1 to Marseille in the French Cup. Messi played all 90 minutes.

He did, however, experience hamstring pain later.

Messi is likely to miss PSG’s Ligue 1 match against AS Monaco on Saturday, three days before the Bayern match.

This season, Messi has scored 15 goals for PSG in 25 games across all competitions.

After suffering a thigh injury last week, forward Kylian Mbappe is already out of the game for the French champions.

On March 8, the second leg will take place in Munich.
