Divine Nwachukwu, a midfielder for Bendel Insurance, believes he earned his first call-up to the Super Eagles.
The former Flying Eagles star was chosen for Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification against Sierra Leone along with three other Nigeria Premier League talents.
Nwachukwu has been a standout player this year for Bendel Insurance.
At the current NPL Super Six playoffs in Lagos, the youthful midfielder has three goals.
At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, the enthusiastic midfielder told DAILY POST, “I will keep working hard till I reach my goals.
“Despite the loss, I’m still proud of the goal I scored to honor my call-up.
“Getting my first Big Super Eagles call-up makes me feel incredibly honored and grateful.”
