People in Rivers rejected Tinubu, the former chairman of the PDP; Secondus opposes Wike

Uche Secondus, the former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stated prior to Saturday’s presidential election that Nyesom Wike’s alleged attempt to solicit votes for Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, would be futile.

Secondus stated on Wednesday’s Arise Television program that the Rivers people have rejected the former governor of Lagos.

There are rumors that Wike, the leader of the displeased governors elected on the PDP platform, is working to ensure that Tinubu wins the presidential election.

The statement that “Rivers people have refused to vote for Tinubu” by Secondus rebutted the move

He emphasized that the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, cannot be compared to the former governor of Lagos in terms of track record.

He stated, “The River people are very intelligent and shrewd.” Rivers’ people aren’t going in that direction, but Wike is looking for his own personal gain.

“The Rivers people know the truth, and the truth is that you cannot compare Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,” despite the appeals made to various chiefs and other sources.
