Bayern Munich forward, Leroy Sane was caught crying on Wednesday during a chat with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola after their Champions League quarter-final clash.
Guardiola shared a heart-warming moment with Sane after the game following an incident involving Sane and Mane.
City progressed to the semi-final of the competition after they drew 1-1 at the Allianz Arena in the second leg, having beaten the Germans 3-0 at the Etihad last week.
Guardiola was pictured with the former City player after the final whistle as he consoled the 27-year-old who was down in tears.
Fans got emotional after seeing this, with one user asking Sane to “come home” again. Another asked if they could see the German international “play under Pep just one more time.”
Sane was recently punched in the face by teammate Mane following a heated dressing room altercation which was as a result of their 3-0 defeat in the first leg in England.
The Germany international was also guilty of missing a crucial opportunity for the Bavarians last night.
