The NSCDC of Kaduna State sends 4,000 people to the 2023 general elections

Over 4,000 Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officers and men will be deployed for the state’s 2023 general elections, according to CC Idris Yahaya Adah, commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kaduna Command.

CC Adah promised the state’s residents to turn out in large numbers to exercise their right to vote as citizens of the nation, stating that arrangements have been made for security coverage during the election.

In addition, he stated that the widespread deployment of personnel in Kaduna was intended to guarantee the protection of life and property, and he promised residents security coverage.

In addition, he stated that he had already established a monitoring team to conduct rounds of all 23 local government areas in the state to guarantee a credible and error-free election.

He said that the Anti-vandal Squad would be sent to Kaduna to protect all important national assets and infrastructure from being vandalized by criminals before, during, and after the elections.

Adah added that state-trained undercover agents would be able to effectively collaborate with other state security agencies to conduct surveillance and provide intelligence reports.

In addition, he advised state residents to always provide helpful information about criminal elements and/or electoral fraudsters prior to, during, and after elections, as the corps would not hesitate to take action against such criminal elements.
